Cast Your own Souvenir at AMUG 2015
We are officially less than a week away from the 27th Annual Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) Conference being held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida. Hoosier Pattern’s Steve Murray will be leading and moderating the casting seminar track at the AMUG Conference for the second consecutive year. Steve will also be presenting on the topic of ‘3-D Sand Printing For Your Metal Casting Needs’ and demonstrating the casting processes by casting metal using the ‘Foundry In A Box’. Jack Ziemba from Aristo-Cast and Steve will be melting down tin and puter and letting the attendees cast metal objects into a sand mold to cast their own AMUG coaster. On Friday, some Hoosier employees poured their own AMUG coasters to test the molds and make sure they were ready to make the trip to The Sunshine State, and they turned out great.
‘3-D Sand Printing For Your Metal Casting Needs’ will be presented on Thursday April 23rd at 10:30am in River Terrace 3.
All those that have additive machines are welcome to attend the AMUG conference. It is a conference by users for users.
